Job summary

CGI (PHILIPPINES) INC. is seeking an experienced SAP SD/MM Techno-functional Consultant to bridge business processes with SAP configuration and development in a fast-paced ERP environment.

You will lead workshops, configure SD and MM modules, debug ABAP, and ensure OTC and PTP processes align with SAP best practices while onsite once a week in Taguig.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5–10 years hands-on SAP ECC/S4HANA SD/MM experience.
• Participation in at least 2–3 full-cycle implementations or large rollouts.
• Experience with S/4HANA migrations (Brownfield/Greenfield).
• Ability to work onsite 1x weekly in McKinley, Taguig.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement-gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional solutions.
• Perform gap analysis and determine where standard SAP configuration ends and custom development begins.
• End-to-end configuration for SAP SD (Pricing, Billing, Shipping) and MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management, STO).
• Maintain and optimize master data structures for customers, vendors, and materials.
• Troubleshoot and debug ABAP code to identify root causes of system errors.
• Author Functional Specifications for ABAP developers.
• Review technical designs to meet functional requirements.
• Manage the delivery of RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Coordinate with developers on BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits to ensure system integrity.
• Oversee Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT support.
• Provide high-level support for complex production issues requiring functional/technical investigation.

Position Description:

The SAP SD MM Techno-functional Consultant acts as the essential bridge between business operations and the technical development team. This role is responsible for the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules.

The SAP SD MM Techno-functional specialist possesses a core understanding of ABAP basics, allowing them to independently troubleshoot system issues through debugging and effectively translate complex business needs into precise technical specifications. They ensure that business processes—specifically Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Procure-to-Pay (PTP)—are supported by a system that is technically sound, scalable, and aligned with SAP best practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities as Senior Consultant are, but not limited to, the following:

• . Lead requirement-gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional solutions.
• . Perform gap analysis and determine where standard SAP configuration ends and custom development begin.
• . Perform end-to-end configuration for SAP SD (Pricing, Billing, Shipping) and SAP MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management, STO).
• . Maintain and optimize master data structures for customers, vendors, and materials.
• . Troubleshoot and debug ABAP code to identify root causes of system errors or logic failures.
• . Author detailed Functional Specifications (FS) that provide clear logic and data mapping for ABAP developers.
• . Review technical designs to ensure they meet functional requirements.
• . Manage the delivery of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF).
• . Coordinate with developers on the use of BAPIs, BADIs, and User Exits to ensure system integrity.
• . Oversee Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• . Provide high-level support for complex production issues that require a mix of functional and technical investigation

All CGI partners may be required to perform duties outside of their normal duties from time to time, as necessary.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• . Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• . Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC and or S/4HANA specifically within the SD and MM domains.
• . Proven participation in at least 2-3 full-cycle implementations or large-scale global rollouts, covering all phases from blueprinting to go-live.
• . Direct experience with S/4HANA migrations (Brownfield or Greenfield) and a clear understanding of the simplified data model in S/4HANA.
• . Experience working within industry-specific best practices, such as Luxury Retail, Manufacturing, or Public Sector.
• . Experience leading projects that involve heavy integration with other modules like SAP FI (Financial Accounting) or SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
• . Experience managing end-to-end processes that flow across multiple modules (e.g., Sales to Shipping to Finance).
• . Must be amenable to working onsite 1x a week in McKinley, Taguig, on a mid-shift schedule.
