Job summary

Thakral One Inc. in Cebu is seeking an experienced SAP R2R Functional Consultant to support an SAP implementation in a manufacturing setting, collaborating with Finance to translate processes into SAP solutions.

You will drive design, testing, migration, go-live, and stabilisation, ensuring integral Finance operations and cross-module integration with SAP.

The role requires strong communication and onsite work in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, with a 6-month contract and potential extension.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP experience.
• SAP implementation experience, preferably including S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience in manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements workshops with Finance stakeholders and translate requirements into SAP solutions.
• Configure SAP Finance and Controlling processes and ensure integration with other SAP modules.
• Support SIT/UAT, data migration, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
• Collaborate with Cebu-based users and regional project teams to ensure successful delivery.

Job description

As an SAP R2R Functional Consultant, you will support an SAP implementation within a manufacturing environment, working closely with Finance stakeholders to translate financial process requirements into SAP solutions. You will provide functional expertise across design, testing, migration, go‑live, and stabilisation phases, ensuring effective financial operations and integration with other SAP modules.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Requirements Gathering & Process Design

• Lead and facilitate requirements workshops with Finance stakeholders.
• Analyse existing Record‑to‑Report processes and translate requirements into SAP solutions.
• Drive effective financial operations across General Ledger, financial close, journal processing, account reconciliation, fixed assets, cost accounting, and reporting.

SAP Configuration & Integration

• Support functional design and configuration across SAP Finance and Controlling processes.
• Ensure integration between Finance, procurement, manufacturing, sales, and other SAP functional areas.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and test scenarios.

Testing, Migration & Go‑Live

• Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and business validation activities.
• Assist with financial data migration, cutover planning, reconciliation, and go‑live readiness.
• Provide functional expertise during implementation and post‑go‑live stabilisation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Cebu‑based business users and regional project teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery success.

Experience

• You have 10+ years of SAP experience.
• You have SAP implementation experience, preferably including S/4HANA Finance.
• You have worked in the manufacturing industry (highly preferred).

Technical Expertise

• You have strong hands‑on functional experience in SAP R2R / SAP FI / SAP CO / FICO.
• You understand financial accounting, controlling, and period‑end processes.
• You are experienced in supporting Finance integration with other SAP modules.

Ways of Working

• You demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• You are willing and able to work primarily onsite in Lapu‑Lapu City, Cebu.

Assignment Details

• Location: Lapu‑Lapu City, Cebu
• Work Setup: Primarily Onsite (Hybrid may be considered)
• Contract Duration: 6 months, with possible 3‑month extension
