Role Overview

Our client, a technology and consulting organization, is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of SAP implementation, upgrade, and rollout initiatives. This role is responsible for managing the full project life cycle—from planning and execution through to deployment and post-implementation support. The SAP Project Manager will work closely with both business and technical teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• The SAP Project Manager will define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that include timelines, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management strategies.
• Lead end‑to‑end SAP project execution using established methodologies such as SAP Activate or similar frameworks, while continuously monitoring progress, tracking milestones, and ensuring adherence to plans.
• Engage stakeholders as the principal point of contact for business users, IT leadership, and external partners.
• Facilitate regular status updates, communicate risks and issues, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate efforts of consultants, developers, and analysts, provide direction and foster a collaborative working environment.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and serve as escalation point for project‑related challenges.
• Oversee testing, manage change requests, evaluate impact on scope and timelines, lead deployment and go‑live activities, and conduct post‑implementation reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive experience in managing SAP projects, including implementations, upgrades, or rollouts within complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP project methodologies such as SAP Activate and solid understanding of project management principles.
• Proven experience in leading cross‑functional teams and delivering projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to engage effectively across both technical and business audiences.
• Strong problem‑solving capabilities, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience working with external vendors or consulting partners is advantageous.
• A proactive, results‑driven approach with ability to manage risks and drive project outcomes.
