Job summary

FPT Latin America is seeking a Senior SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Specialist to support a production SAP MDG environment in a highly interactive functional/technical role. You will handle P1/P2 incidents, collaborate with business users, and drive data governance quality.

Responsibilities include MDG configuration, troubleshooting IDoc/ALE/OData replication, managing interfaces, and guiding data governance best practices.

Qualifications

• Senior SAP MDG knowledge and hands-on configuration experience.
• Solid data governance understanding and incident handling skills.
• Experience with MDG interfaces and downstream integrations.

• Provide P1/P2 production support with critical incident SLAs
• Support Material Master and Business Partner domains
• Troubleshoot IDoc, ALE, and OData replication issues
• Support interfaces and integrations with downstream systems
• Provide MDG configuration guidance and functional fixes
• Troubleshoot workflows, data issues, and defects
• Collaborate with business users for triage and resolution
• Guide data governance gaps and MDG best practices
• Coordinate with client IT stakeholders and escalate L3/L4 issues
• Support MDG upgrades and defect resolution
• Prepare RCA reports and troubleshooting documentation
• Coordinate knowledge transfer with offshore L3/MDG teams
• Manage and prioritize incidents through ServiceNow

Senior SAP MDG Specialist | Data Governance

FPT USA is looking for a Senior SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Specialist to support a client’s SAP MDG production environment in a highly interactive functional/technical role focused on P1/P2 incident resolution, business-user collaboration, and data governance quality.

• Provide P1/P2 production support while meeting critical incident SLAs
• Support Material Master and Business Partner (Customer/Vendor) domains
• Troubleshoot IDoc, ALE, and OData replication issues
• Support interfaces and integrations with downstream systems
• Provide MDG configuration guidance and functional fixes
• Troubleshoot workflows, data issues, and functional defects
• Work directly with business users for triage, clarification, and resolution
• Provide guidance on data governance gaps and MDG best practices
• Coordinate with client IT stakeholders and escalater L3/L4 issues when required
• Support MDG upgrades and defect resolution
• Prepare RCA reports, ticket resolution summaries, troubleshooting documentation, and SLA/status reports
• Work with offshore L3/MDG teams to ensure a smooth knowledge transition
• Manage and prioritize incidents through ServiceNow

• 8–15 years of senior SAP MDG functional/technical experience
• Deep knowledge of Material Master & Business Partner
• Strong troubleshooting experience with IDoc, ALE, OData & integrations
• SAP MDG configuration, workflows & data governance concepts
• SAP PI/PO and BASIS integration touchpoints
• Experience with MDG 1909 / MDG 2023 is highly preferred
• Strong business-user communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in an on-demand support model
• Experience with ServiceNow and incident management
