A leading technology company in Taguig is seeking a SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Lead responsible for managing and optimizing SAP MDG operations. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of SAP MDG experience and expertise in ECC and S/4HANA. This role will lead daily operations, primarily ensuring data quality and compliance, and drive improvements across master data domains. Strong analytical and communication skills are required. This position requires onsite work in Taguig on a mid-shift schedule.

SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Lead

Location: Taguig (3 days/week onsite)

Work Schedule: EMEA / Mid-shift

Job Summary

The SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Lead will be responsible for managing and optimizing SAP MDG operations, ensuring high data quality, process efficiency, and compliance across master data domains including Business Partner, Material, and Finance. The role provides functional leadership, supports data consistency across systems, and drives continuous improvement of global master data processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day SAP MDG operations, including issue resolution and process optimization.
• Manage master data objects (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance)
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with governance standards
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders on data governance initiatives
• Drive automation and continuous‑improvement activities
• Support integration of master data across SAP and non‑SAP systems
• Maintain documentation and support knowledge sharing within the team

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• 5+ years of SAP MDG experience; 2–3 years leading projects or teams
• Expertise in ECC and S/4HANA MDG environments
• Strong knowledge of MDG data models, workflows, and governance principles
• SAP consultancy experience
• Not currently or formerly employed with CGI
• No active or recent application with CGI
• Willing to work onsite in Taguig on a mid‑shift schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 8–10 years overall SAP experience
• Experience handling Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance master data
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with ITIL processes
• Excellent English communication skills
