Job summary

APWtech in Metro Manila seeks an SAP FI functional consultant to analyze, design, configure, implement and support the SAP FI area to meet business requirements.

The role covers GL, AP, AR, Asset accounting, Bank accounting and Cash Management, with FI-CO integration and data migration activities. You will also prepare detailed test plans and train end-users on new processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Two full lifecycle SAP FI implementations are needed.
• Experience in accounting and Philippine tax reporting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist functional and configuration knowledge in SAP ECC6 FI.
• Configure GL, AP, AR, Asset accounting, Bank accounting and Cash Management.
• Ensure FI-CO integration with other logistics modules.
• Lead requirements gathering, blueprinting and design documentation.

Job description

• Participated in designing the Plant Maintenance master data and maintenance order execution
• Involved in designing the coding structure of master data
• Responsible for the configuration of Plant Maintenance module
• Preparation of user manual and configuration manual
• Participated in master data build-up and migration to SAP
• Provided Plant Maintenance master data and maintenance order processing training to end-users
• Conducted a full cycle run (UAT) with the business counterparts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum two (2) full cycle SAP implementation (Project Preparation till Go Live)
• Minimum 4 years of SAP Plant Maintenance configuration and support experience

The SAP FI Consultant is responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, implementation and support of the SAP FI areas to meet the business requirements. The FI consultant should be familiar with the integration of SAP FI with other modules.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP ECC6 FI solutions
• Should have sound knowledge of master data and configuration of GL( including new GL), AP, AR, Asset accounting, Bank accounting and Cash Management
• Understand dependency between FI and CO and other logistics modules.
• Understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide financial expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area
• Conduct and participate in user requirements gathering, blueprinting or mapping client business requirements and processes and documentation of the agreed design
• Provide functional expertise, guidance, presentation and instructions on SAP functionalities to clients.
• Ensure compliance to reporting standards and processes
• Prepare detailed test plans and test scripts for various scenarios based on agreed business processes
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing with the client
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
• Familiar with the processes and strategies that make up the data migration activities
• Work with SAP to resolve software bugs.
• Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for finance related processes.
• Develop functional specifications and work with BASIS and ABAP resources to complete development and testing of client customized requirements
• May lead and coordinate the work of a small team
• Understand and apply the group company’s methodologies and procedures
• Acts as liaison with client and SAP for troubleshooting: investigates, analyses, and solves software problems/ software bugs
• Map client business requirements, processes and objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• With work experience in Accounting.
• At least two (2) full lifecycle implementations as an SAP FI functional consultant.
• Analytical with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledgeable in financial processes and basic Philippine taxation reporting requirements.
• Strong ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions when necessary
