Qualifications

• Proven experience in SAP application support with expertise in SAP modules.

• ABAP programming or SAP scripting is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex issues.
• Strong communication to explain technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Familiarity with SAP tools such as Solution Manager and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., SAP certification) desirable.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and solid documentation.

We're seeking a SAP Application Support Engineer to join our growing team. This is a contract position based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a SAP Application Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising our SAP systems, ensuring seamless operations across our enterprise applications. You will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions that keep our business processes running smoothly. This position is essential to our IT operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver quality services to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP applications and modules, responding to user queries and issues in a timely manner
• Monitor SAP system performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement
• Configure and customise SAP solutions to meet business requirements and end-user needs
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Perform system maintenance tasks, including patch management, updates and regular system health checks
• Document incidents, resolutions and technical procedures to maintain comprehensive knowledge base resources
• Participate in testing activities for new implementations, upgrades and system enhancements
• Support end-users with training and guidance on SAP functionality and best practices
• Liaise with SAP vendors and internal teams to liaise complex issues and coordinate resolution efforts

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in SAP application support, with demonstrated expertise in one or more SAP modules (such as FI, CO, MM, SD, HR or PP)
• Strong technical knowledge of SAP systems architecture, databases and integration frameworks
• Experience troubleshooting SAP-related issues and implementing effective solutions
• Solid understanding of ABAP programming or SAP scripting is advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues methodically
• Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with SAP tools such as Solution Manager, SAP Analytics Cloud or other supporting platforms is preferred
• Relevant IT certifications (such as SAP certification or equivalent qualifications) are desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
