Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines is seeking an ABAP developer for SAP HANA to analyze, design, implement and deploy SAP solutions. You will align the HANA/S/4HANA tech with business strategy while working with onshore teams or directly with clients, reviewing code written by others, gathering requirements, and fixing issues.

Responsibilities include ABAP development in S/4HANA, CDS/AMDP data modeling, OData, RICEFW modernization, and mentoring juniors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years SAP ABAP experience.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA or SoH and SAP upgrades.
• ABAP OO with NW 7.5 features.

Overview:

As a developer on ABAP for SAP HANA, you will analyze, design, implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals. You would be aligning the HANA or S/4HANA technology and related tools & frameworks with business strategy, working with the onshore or directly with the client, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting, and implementing software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop applications for the SAP system using ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) and ABAP-OO (ABAP Object Oriented) programming language in S/4HANA and on other SAP in-memory & cloud-based platform.
• Extend or develop data models in S/4HANA, CDS (Core Data Services) views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures).
• Hands on for SAP NetWeaver Gateway OData.
• Modernize RICEFW by designing and building applications towards Clean Core.
• Conduct code reviews, and provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers to ensure adherence to best practice, coding standards and quality assurance.
• Solve complex and dynamic challenges, turning it into simple and seamless solutions.
• Work in an agile team and apply agile development practices for iterative development and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Explore, design and implement new features and functionalities for cutting edge technologies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 year of SAP ABAP experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of hands-on SAP Suite on HANA (SoH) or S/4HANA, or at least an SAP Upgrade experience i.e. Unicode conversion, SPDD/SPAU/SPAU_ENH, ABAP support on Basis upgrades or Functional testing, etc., and with experience in RICEFW development.
• Have ABAP Object Oriented Programming (OOP) with NW 7.5 features.
• Passion for quality, on-time delivery, customer focus, open minded and self-motivated person.
• Knowledge about SAP product standards, coding guidelines and even cloud qualities in the development environment.
