Job summary

ING Hubs Philippines is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design and enhance SAP Banking Services platforms. You will contribute to large-scale implementations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive technical delivery across modules such as FS-AM, FS-MCM, FS-PE, and cash pooling.

You should bring 8+ years of SAP ABAP experience, OO ABAP proficiency, and hands-on work with upgrades, interfaces, workflows and enhancements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Experience on SAP Banking Services solutions.
• Hands-on with SPAU, SPDD and related upgrade activities.
• Strong object-oriented ABAP, interfaces, workflows and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver SAP Banking Services module solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analytics and tech teams to define requirements.
• Develop reports, interfaces, RFCs, BAPIs, web services and APIs.
• Prepare technical specs, unit tests and documentation.
• Perform unit testing, SIT/UAT support and deployments.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

What You'll Do

As An SAP ABAP Developer, You Will

• Design and deliver technical solutions for SAP Banking Services modules, including:
  • SAP FS-AM (Account Management)
  • SAP FS-MCM (Master Contract Management)
  • SAP FS-PE (Payment Engine/Payment Centralization)
  • SAP Effective Cash Pooling
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to analyze requirements and assess solution impacts.
• Develop and enhance SAP ABAP objects including:
  • Reports
  • Interfaces
  • RFCs
  • BAPIs
  • Web Services and APIs
  • Workflows
  • BADIs and Enhancements
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, functional specifications, and unit test artifacts.
• Perform unit testing and support SIT and UAT activities.
• Manage system deployments and transport releases across SAP environments.
• Investigate incidents, troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and provide ongoing application support.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor development team members to ensure high-quality delivery.

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Proven experience across multiple end-to-end SAP implementation projects.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Banking or financial services industry experience.
• Exposure to blueprint, build, deployment, post-go-live support, and production support phases.
• Experience working within agile delivery environments.
