Job summary

ING is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to work on complex banking solutions that impact thousands of customers. You will join our technology team to design, develop, and enhance SAP Banking Services platforms in large-scale SAP implementations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, perform unit testing, support SIT/UAT, and manage deployments across SAP environments, delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic banking setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Proven experience across multiple end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP, Custom Development, Performance Tuning, BADIs and BAPIs, Interfaces and Integrations, Workflows and Enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver technical solutions for SAP Banking Services modules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, consultants, and technical teams to analyze requirements and impacts.
• Develop and enhance SAP ABAP objects including Reports, Interfaces, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services and APIs, Workflows, BADIs and Enhancements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, functional specs, and unit test artifacts.
• Perform unit testing and support SIT and UAT activities.
• Manage system deployments and transport releases across SAP environments.
• Investigate incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing application support.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor development team members.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver technical solutions for SAP Banking Services modules, including: SAP FS-AM (Account Management), SAP FS-MCM (Master Contract Management), SAP FS-PE (Payment Engine/Payment Centralization), SAP Effective Cash Pooling
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to analyze requirements and assess solution impacts.
• Develop and enhance SAP ABAP objects including: Reports

Preferred Experience

• Banking or financial services industry experience.
• Exposure to blueprint, build, deployment, post-go-live support, and production support phases.
• Experience working within agile delivery environments.
