Job summary

Indra Group in the Philippines is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and maintain ABAP solutions aligned with technical designs. The role requires deep expertise in SAP ABAP and S/4HANA ABAP, including extensibility, conversion projects, and private cloud edition considerations.

You will collaborate with functional teams, BASIS, Fiori, and integration specialists to deliver quality SAP solutions, perform unit testing, and document developments and decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years SAP ABAP development experience.
• Good experience with S/4HANA ABAP development.
• Understanding of S/4HANA extensibility concepts, custom code remediation, and clean core principles preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition latest release or at least two major releases back preferred.
• Experience participating in SAP ECC to S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition conversion projects is a plus.
• SAP ABAP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ABAP solutions based on approved technical designs.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and enhance ABAP objects including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and custom programs.
• Perform ABAP debugging, root cause analysis, and technical issue resolution.
• Ensure developments follow SAP standards, coding practices, and clean core principles.
• Execute unit testing, support integration testing, and resolve technical defects.
• Coordinate with functional, BASIS, BTP, Fiori, and integration teams to support solution delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
