China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation Philippine Branch is seeking a Sanitary/Plumbing Engineer to join a World Bank-funded school retrofit project in Metro Manila. You will supervise installation, monitor compliance with plans and standards, and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure safe, reliable sanitary systems.

The role requires a licensed sanitary/plumbing engineer with at least 8 years total experience (5+ in related work) and strong English communication and reporting

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Sanitary Engineering or a relevant plumbing discipline.
• Licensed Sanitary/Plumbing Engineer.
• 8+ years total work experience; at least 5 years in sanitary/plumbing engineering.
• Experience in building sanitary systems, plumbing installation, water supply and drainage.
• Knowledge of Philippine sanitary and plumbing codes and standards.
• Good English communication and technical report-writing skills.
• Experience with World Bank, ADB, JICA or other foreign-assisted projects is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to sign a Certification of Commitment for bid submission.

About the Role

Join a project-based engineering team supporting a World Bank-funded public school retrofitting project in Metro Manila. The Sanitary / Plumbing Engineer will supervise and monitor sanitary and plumbing installation, rehabilitation, and improvement works, ensuring proper system functionality and compliance with approved plans, applicable codes, and project specifications. Employment starts upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Review sanitary and plumbing drawings, plans, and technical specifications.

• Supervise and monitor sanitary and plumbing construction and installation works.

• Inspect water supply, drainage, wastewater, and plumbing systems.

• Ensure compliance with applicable sanitary and plumbing codes and standards.

• Review material submissions, shop drawings, and technical documents.

• Coordinate sanitary and plumbing works with other engineering disciplines.

• Identify technical issues and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.

• Prepare inspection reports, progress reports, and technical documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Sanitary Engineering or a relevant plumbing engineering discipline.

• Must be a Licensed Sanitary / Plumbing Engineer.

• Minimum of 8 years of total work experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in similar sanitary or plumbing engineering work.
