About the Role

Join a project-based engineering team supporting a World Bank-funded public school retrofitting project in Metro Manila. The Project Engineer will assist in the technical coordination, planning, supervision, and monitoring of construction activities to ensure compliance with approved engineering plans, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. Employment starts upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities.
• Ensure that construction works comply with approved plans, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Review construction drawings, technical documents, and method statements.
• Monitor project progress and assist in preparing work schedules and progress reports.
• Identify technical issues and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
• Assist in quality control, inspection, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate construction records and technical documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.
• For Filipino Project Engineers: Must be an Accredited Project Engineer II by DPWH, in accordance with Department Order No. 148, Series of 2024.
• For Foreign Project Engineers: Minimum of 10 years of total work experience, including at least 5 years of experience in similar work.
• Experience in construction supervision, project implementation, and infrastructure works.
• Good English communication and technical report-writing skills.
• Experience in World Bank, ADB, JICA, or other foreign-assisted infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to sign a Certification of Commitment for the bid submission.
