Overview
The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting Lexmark’s field and face-to-face sales representatives by providing timely operational, administrative, and customer support. This role enables Account Managers and Territory Sales Managers to achieve sales objectives by assisting with pricing inquiries, product recommendations, sales programs, special bids, orders, inventory, rebates, and customer concerns. The role works closely with sales teams, partners, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues, manage requests, and provide accurate information that supports sales activities and business growth.

What You Will Do
- Support field and face-to-face sales representatives in achieving sales goals through timely and accurate sales support
- Track and provide Account Managers with updates on performance against monthly and quarterly programs
- Communicate with sales teams regarding concerns raised by partners and end-users
- Track and report inventory levels, orders, and consumption to Account Managers
- Manage assigned mailboxes and respond to sales and customer-related inquiries
- Provide product recommendations based on customer requirements
- Create, edit, monitor approvals, and communicate special bids, including Traditional, MPS, Quick Bid, Demo, and Bid Desk requests
- Provide information to Lexmark partners regarding products, programs, pricing, and value propositions
- Create and edit flyers, presentations, and other marketing materials for Territory Sales Managers’ meetings, trainings, and face-to-face activities
- Compile product information and content for partner websites and portals
- Process MPS Elite device entitlements
- Manage and monitor cases in Dynamics from creation through closure
- Facilitate the resolution of technical support issues by coordinating with appropriate teams
- Process rebate claims, including MDF, Special Bid, and SLED claims
- Respond to forecasting inquiries from Account Managers
- Work with appropriate teams and utilize relevant tools to support customers and resolve business concerns
- Understand Lexmark order, pricing, and supply chain processes to provide accurate information and guidance to customers and sales teams
- Escalate business-impacting concerns and provide relevant input to managers and stakeholders when required
- Maintain effective communication with sales teams, customers, partners, peers, managers, and stakeholders across the supported geography
What You Need to Succeed
- College graduate
- At least 2 years of BPO or work-related experience
- Experience in Sales Support, Customer Service, BPO Operations, or a related support function is preferred
- Strong understanding of customer service and sales support processes
- Ability to work with pricing, orders, inventory, product information, sales programs, and customer requests
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to prioritize stakeholder needs and manage multiple requests effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders across different geographies
- Ability to learn and adapt to sales processes, business systems, products, and technologies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute plans accurately and within required timelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business systems is an advantage
- Ability to work primarily in an office-based environment with occasional travel as required
