Job Description
The Store Sales Supervisor is responsible for managing daily LPG delivery and sales operations across designated routes. This role ensures effective supervision of route personnel, optimization of route performance, achievement of sales targets, and strict compliance with safety, operational, and company standards. The position plays a key role in driving revenue growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Position Qualifications
Educational Background
- Highest Educational Attainment: College Graduate
- Degree: Marketing or any related course
Licenses & Certifications
- Professional Driver’s License (Required)
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years route sales experience
- Preferably from LPG or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem‑solving skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Highly organized and performance‑driven
Principal Accountabilities
- Manage and monitor overall performance of route customers (commercial and retail).
- Take customer orders and oversee delivery scheduling.
- Ensure timely and efficient service delivery with drivers and helpers.
- Conduct weekly audits of on‑loaned cylinders and gas line pipes to ensure proper usage and condition.
- Gather and report market intelligence (competitor pricing, promotions, initiatives).
- Ensure timely collection within approved credit terms.
- Escalate customer concerns and feedback to the Department Manager.
- Prepare and submit daily route sales reports to the Plant Sales Manager.
2. OHSE Conformance
- Participate in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) programs at plant level.
- Ensure alignment with company OHSE objectives and directions.
- Coordinate with OHSE team on implementation of health and safety programs.
- Ensure safety compliance of personnel within assigned territory.
3. Compliance (Statutory & Regulatory)
- Ensure all business activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor validity and renewal of regulatory permits.
- Provide reports on regulatory requirements and updates.
- Develop compliance checklists and prepare required reports.
- Inform Internal Audit of any non‑compliance findings requiring investigation.
- Promote and implement best practice standards.
4. Other Responsibilities
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership in support of operational and business objectives.
