Job summary

Happy Pet Products Incorporated is seeking a Sales Merchandiser to ensure effective distribution, visibility, and promotion of our products across multiple locations in the Philippines.

You will stock shelves, monitor inventory, report on sales performance, support marketing events, and conduct competitor analysis while maintaining a professional appearance and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising and promotion preferred in relevant industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and relationship-building skills.
• Professional appearance and proactive attitude required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelves are stocked and displayed properly in assigned stores.
• Manage store inventory levels and create inventory reports to monitor sales performance.
• Monitor sales, losses, stock wastage and damages.
• Push products in-store to achieve sales targets.
• Participate in marketing events and promotions.
• Report customer feedback to supervisors to forecast trends and seasonal demand.
• Conduct competitor analysis including pricing, profit, and marketing efforts.

About the role

The Sales Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring the effective distribution, visibility, and promotion of Happy Pet Products.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure that shelves of assigned store are properly stocked and displayed
• Handle the assigned store's inventory levels and create inventory reports for the monitoring of the sales performances of products
• Monitor sales, losses, stock wastage and damage
• Push products in-store to meet sales targets
• Participate in marketing events
• Review and report customer feedback to supervisors in order to forecast sales trends and seasonal stock demand
• Conduct competitor analysis which includes a review of pricing, profit, marketing and other progress

• Working experience in merchandising and promotion, preferably in a related industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills
• Maintains a professional and well-presented appearance
• Exhibits a proactive and optimistic approach to work
• Goal-oriented, Results-driven and proactive in achieving sales goals

Minimum Requirements

• At least a high school graduate
• Knows how to ride a motorcycle (roving merchandiser)
