Job summary

Yokogawa Philippines, Inc. invites applications from engineers to join our manufacturing and process design teams. You will contribute to design, standards, inspections and project coordination to optimize plant equipment and processes.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, support feasibility testing of engineering solutions, and help ensure conformance to specifications while supporting continuous improvement across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level is required.
• Engineering background with emphasis on design, development and testing.

Responsibilities

• Process Design Engineering: support analysis of information and design of manufacturing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process Design Engineering
  Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the analysis of information, the specification of the methods, process steps, and the plant, machinery and equipment required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems.


• Engineering Solutions Design
  Contribute to the development of and implement feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design.


• Engineering Standards Specification
  Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards.


• Engineering Inspections
  Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations to senior colleagues on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.


• Contract Management
  Deliver required outcomes by coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers and acting as a primary point of contact for them while working within an established contract management plan.


• Improvement/Innovation
  Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them.


• Request for Bid Solicitation/Proposal/Tender Response
  Gather information and resources and draft and complete standardized proposals and fulfill all process requirements (in terms of deadlines, documentation, etc.) in response to bid solicitations/request for proposal/tender, to create the best chance of being awarded the contract.


• Knowledge Management System
  Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice.


• Product and Solution Development
  Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products.

  Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
