Job description

The Sales Associate is responsible for welcoming customers, maintaining floor appearance, directing customers to goods, and ensures that they make more sales and gets customer product suited to their needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere all the time for customers in the store by greeting, and assisting.

• Full understanding of products and promptly responding to customers’ inquiries or needs.

• Handle after-sales concerns such as complaints, returns and exchanges.

• Assist customers with finding the perfect product for their needs.

• Get full understanding of store promotional programs and effectively communicate them to customers.

• Collaborate with team members towards reaching the sales target given.

• Cross-selling products to increase purchase amount.

• Assist in carrying out plan activities for sales promotion, merchandise calendar, and campaigns as required.

• Ensure deep knowledge of all pricing and POP’s.

• Provide assistance in keeping the store clean and organized always.

• Perform stocking and organization of merchandise as required.

• Order merchandise following instructions from the store manager.

• Assist in replenishing the selling area as quickly as possible and regularly receiving deliveries.

• Create and provide reports as instructed by the Immediate Head.

• Ensure that Company policies were strictly observed.

• May be required to perform other duties which the supervisor may direct.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Aggressive, proactive, and sales-driven personality

• Must have at least 1 year of experience selling FOOTWEAR SPORTS in a boutique.

• Able to work with minimal supervision

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and KPIs

• Well-groomed, professional, and presentable appearance

• Highly motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Flexible and willing to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays

• Team player with good interpersonal skill

• Basic inventory management and merchandising knowledge preferred
