Job summary

Pioneer Your Insurance in the Philippines is seeking a dedicated professional to support underwriting, client relations, and risk placement. The role includes preparing quotations, gathering underwriting information, and managing reinsurance placements, while maintaining strong intermediaries and direct client relationships.

Responsibilities also cover timely collections, renewals, and soliciting new engineering insurance business.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree Course.
• With at least 4 years of experience in non-life insurance.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Above average English communication skills both oral and written.
• Open to work in a full on-site setup.

• Underwriting: Prepares quotations and gathers information for underwriting of risks.
• Accounts management: Responds to queries and maintains relationships with brokers, agents and direct clients.
• Reinsurance: Arranges outward and inward facultative reinsurance placements and reviews RI binders.
• Solicitation of new accounts: Assists in soliciting new engineering insurance business for the company.
• Collection: Takes charge of collection and minimizes receivables through follow-ups on payments.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Underwriting

• Prepares quotation on insurance applications and request from Brokers/Agents and Direct Clients.
• Gathers information required for the underwriting of risks presented by agents/ brokers/ assureds.

Accounts Management

• Responds to queries received from Brokers and Agents or referred by the staff/ other departments.
• Maintains relationship with intermediaries and direct clients through regular visits.
• Reviews expiry terms and proposes renewal terms if necessary to the Line Head.

Reinsurance

• Arranges/Confirms both outward and inward facultative reinsurance placements.
• Prepares remittance requests for facultative premiums.
• Reviews RI Binders.

Solicitation of New Accounts

• Assists in soliciting new Engineering insurance business for the company.

Collection

• Takes charge of collection and keeps receivables at minimum level through periodic follow- ups of payment for outstanding accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Bachelors' Degree Course
• With at least 4 years of experience in non-life insurance
• Proficient in MS Office (excel, work and PowerPoint)
• Above average English communication skills both oral and written.
