Job summary

VELEZ COLLEGE, INC. urgently seeks a Safety Officer / Pollution Control Officer to ensure occupational safety and environmental compliance. The role involves implementing health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring DOLE and DENR compliance.

The incumbent will manage OSH programs, monitor facilities, prepare reports, and support sustainable operations in line with government regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety or related field.
• SO2/SO3 certification and PCO accreditation.
• 2–4 years in safety and environmental compliance.
• Good knowledge of DOLE and DENR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee OSH program management and coordination with OSH Committee.
• Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Assist government inspectors during safety and health inspections.
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws and manage permits.
• Prepare and submit SMR and CMR reports for DENR.
