Job summary

V2X is seeking a Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and Safety Officer to ensure compliance with Philippine Environmental Laws and OSH standards. This on-site role based in Subic requires DENR-accreditable training, a valid PCO/OSH certificates, and a relevant degree.

The candidate will lead environmental and safety programs, monitor facilities, and prepare regulatory reports. The position also involves coordinating trainings, maintaining records, and liaising with government agencies to uphold

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, safety, or related discipline.
• 40-hour Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Training Certificate.
• 40-hour BOSH Safety Officer II Certificate.
• Filipino citizen.
• Valid Driver’s License for all labor categories.
• Experience as Pollution Control Officer and Safety Officer 2 in the Philippines.
• Excellent communication, reading comprehension, and time management.
• Advanced knowledge of computers and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates employee’s orientation and trainings on environmental activities, projects & campaigns, and updates environmental bulletins, posters and relevant information.
• Keeps updated Environmental and Legal Laws, Environmental Operational Procedures, Policies and Guidelines; including the Organization Environmental certificates, permits, and other related reports and records.
• Completes quarterly and annual environmental reports.
• Develops, promotes and implements Occupational Safety and Health Programs in the workplace in accordance with the provisions of the OSH Standards.
• Advises and assists the employer in complying with the provisions of the Standards especially in the submission of required reports.
• Prepares an annual report of OSH Program of establishment and perform at least a quarterly appraisal and assessment of the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Programs in the workplace.
• Acts as the employers’ principal assistant and consultant in the application of programs to remove the hazards from the workplace and to correct unsafe work practices.
• Serves as Secretary to the Health and Safety Committee and performs related duties.
