Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor company safety policies and programs in compliance with government regulations (DOLE, OSHC, etc.).
Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
Lead incident investigations and prepare reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
Organize safety training, drills, and orientations for employees and contractors.
Maintain updated documentation of safety permits, reports, and compliance records.
Coordinate with HR, Admin, and Facilities teams to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Promote employee awareness and participation in safety initiatives and wellness programs.
Liaise with government agencies and external partners for compliance and certification requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, or any related field.
Certified Safety Officer (BOSH, COSH, or equivalent DOLE-accredited training).
At least 2–3 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in a corporate or office-based environment.
Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to influence a culture of safety.
