Job summary

ZC Kings Manpower Cooperative is seeking a qualified Safety Officer to lead health and safety initiatives across our construction sites. • Develop, implement and enforce comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures across all construction sites
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Provide safety training and induction programme to all site personnel, ensuring workers understand hazard awareness and safe work practices
• Maintain detailed safety records, incident reports and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Liaise with project managers, contractors and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture and address safety concerns promptly
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure adequate supplies are available on all sites
• Prepare and present safety reports to management and stakeholders
• Stay current with changes in safety legislation and update company procedures accordingly
