Greenmark Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a Safety Officer to implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements at our project sites in the Philippines. You will conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and coordinate with project teams to ensure compliant safety practices.

Ideal candidates will hold an Advanced WSH certificate (Level B) with valid height work and BizSAFE Level 2, plus strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) is required.
• Valid Manage Work at Height certificate.
• Valid Risk Management (BizSAFE Level 2) certificate.
• Additional relevant WSH / safety certifications will be an advantage.
• Experience in civil infrastructure or construction projects is advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Immediate availability / short-notice candidates will be an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements at the project site.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety observations and safety audits.
• Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in preparing, reviewing and monitoring Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and Method Statements.
• Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with WSH regulations, company procedures and project safety requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and safety inductions.
• Monitor high-risk activities and ensure proper safety control measures are implemented.
• Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements for applicable activities.
• Follow up on safety observations, non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Assist in incident, accident and near-miss investigations and prepare safety reports.
• Maintain records of inspections, safety meetings, training, incidents and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, workers and subcontractors on WSH matters.
• Participate in emergency preparedness, drills and safety campaigns.
• Attend WSH meetings and assist in implementing the project's Safety Management System.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, access control, barricading and safe worksite conditions.
• Liaise with relevant parties during WSH inspections, audits and regulatory visits.
• Promote a strong safety culture and encourage workers to follow safe working practices.
• Perform other WSH-related duties as assigned by management.
