Qualifications

Bachelor science degree (any field).
At least 2 years in a safety-related role.
Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of risk assessment and hazard identification.
Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Leadership and teamwork skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Implement and enforce company safety rules and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
Conduct safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
Monitor use of PPE and safety practices on site.
Act as the primary point of contact for safety-related concerns and emergencies.
Monitor and manage waste segregation, recycling, and disposal.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
