Job summary

Newport World Resorts is seeking a SEPCU Officer to provide technical expertise in safety, environmental compliance, and pollution control. The role focuses on risk assessments, incident investigations, regulatory compliance monitoring, and specialized safety programs to promote a safe environment for employees, guests, and contractors.

Responsibilities include leading OHSE programs, ensuring policy compliance, planning OSHE events, conducting inspections, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

College graduate (engineering field is an advantage) or at least 72 units earned.
At least three (3) years experience in occupational safety, health or environment.
At least three (3) years experience in environmental compliance or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee OSHE programs for employees, guests, and contractors.
Monitor compliance with safety and environmental policies and standards.
Plan and coordinate National/International OSHE events (Earth Day, Fire Prevention Month, etc.).
Conduct safety inspections and report observations to management.
Assist in incident investigations and prepare daily/weekly reports.
Coordinate emergency drills and operate PA systems during emergencies.
Deliver OSHE training sessions and develop training materials.
Support interdepartmental coordination and administrative tasks.
Manage performance, coaching, and engagement of SEPCU associates.
