Job summary

Flash Express is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead the development and implementation of workplace safety programs. You will conduct risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate training across the organization to foster a strong safety culture.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in a relevant field with 2+ years in health and safety management. Certifications such as BOSH, OSH, or HIRAC are advantageous. This is an on-site role based in the Philippines' Calabarzon region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in health and safety management (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Certifications such as BOSH, OSH, HIRAC, or equivalent are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
• Implement and regularly update Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including training and reporting.
• Conduct and regularly review risk assessments for equipment and operations.
• Document, investigate, and recommend improvements for workplace accidents.
• Oversee safety inspections, fire drills, alarms, and ensure employees are informed of responsibilities.
• Develop and coordinate health & safety policies, systems, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate health, safety, and training records.
• Establish documented programs for inspections, audits, and checks.
• Implement company-wide health & safety training programs.
• Liaise with external consultants for training and health & safety services.
