Job summary

Asian Development Bank in Manila is seeking a Safeguards Analyst to provide operational and analytical support for the Office of Safeguards (OSFG). Based at the Manila Headquarters, you will help implement technical assistance projects, monitor TA work plans and budgets, and contribute to safeguard business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years experience in environment, involuntary resettlement and/or indigenous people safeguards in development projects or related work.
• Knowledge of project implementation processes and ADB Safeguard Policy Statement.
• Understanding environmental and social dimensions in development projects.
• Proficiency in information management systems and MS Excel.
• Strong written and oral English communications.

Responsibilities

• Handle TA administration tasks by analyzing progress reports and documenting activities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to monitor TA implementation and resolve issues.
• Review TA budget, travel reimbursements, and related documentation.
• Create and maintain TA-related records and information systems for reporting and monitoring.
• Identify TA completion reports (TCRs) and monitor completion and financial close.
• Support recruitment and engagement of TA and staff consultants including contract management.
• Coordinate logistics for missions, events, and other project activities.
• Maintain TA records to support decision making and reporting.
• Support safeguarding processes and knowledge management initiatives.
