Job summary

Asian Development Bank (ADB) is seeking a Safeguards Analyst to support the Office of Safeguards in Manila. The role focuses on TA administration, safeguards processes, and knowledge management for development projects in Asia-Pacific.

You will liaise with operations, procurement, and PPFD, manage TA budgets, and ensure compliance with ADB policies while coordinating with consultants and staff across various divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years' experience in environment, involuntary resettlement and/or indigenous people/ethnic minorities safeguards in development projects, research, or NGO work.
• Knowledge of project implementation and ADB safeguards policies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze TA administration tasks by reviewing progress reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure effective TA implementation and reporting.
• Review TA budget, travel reimbursements, and related payments; liaise with operations and PPFD.
• Create and maintain TA records, data, and information systems for monitoring and reporting.
• Identify TA completion reports (TCRs) and monitor TA completion and financial closing.
