Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking an entry-level Right-of-Way Geographical Information System Specialist in Makati. You will perform geospatial analysis, data management, and mapping to support SRRLC and PD teams across project planning and development.

You will collect, process, and visualize spatial data to aid in identifying transmission line routes, access roads, and project sites, contributing to land due diligence, permitting, and site validation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering, Geography, Geomatics, or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a GIS-focused role (preferably infrastructure, energy, or environmental projects).

Responsibilities

• Support SRRLC with spatial data and maps to identify feasible routes for transmission lines and access roads.
• Analyze terrain, slope, land cover, land use, and proximity to infrastructure and protected areas.
• Provide GIS support for route alignment and site selection.
• Develop and maintain GIS databases including cadastral boundaries, zoning, land tenure, parcels, satellite maps and environmental overlays.
• Produce high-quality maps and spatial reports for internal and external use.
