Savills Philippines is seeking a Building Engineer to oversee daily property operations, inspections, and adherence to company standards onsite in Bacnotan, La Union. The role involves security, housekeeping oversight, preventive maintenance, energy management, and compliance with regulations.

The candidate will prepare reports, manage service providers and budgets, and supervise the property management team while maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional License (Board/PRC) is required.
• At least 2 years of work experience in the property management industry.
• Willing to work on-site and six days per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations and inspections; enforce house rules and maintain standards.
• Monitor security and housekeeping to ensure safety and service quality.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, energy management, fire safety, and technical programs.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety requirements, permits, licenses, and property standards.
• Prepare reports, inventories, and documentation for board or landlord meetings.
• Manage service providers and monitor contracts and performance.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial reporting; assist in planning.
• Supervise the property management team and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with landlords, tenants, and residents; drive service improvements.
• Serve as Reliever for Account Lead – Metro Manila and ensure continuity.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee daily property operations, conduct regular inspections, enforce house rules, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Monitor security and housekeeping services to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with service agreements.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, equipment and utility monitoring, fire safety, energy management, and other technical programs.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety requirements, government permits, licenses, legal requirements, and property standards.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, documentation, inventories, and requirements for board/landlord meetings.
• Manage service providers, monitor contract compliance and performance, and evaluate service quality.
• Monitor billing, collections, expenses, fund balances, and budgets; prepare financial reports and assist in budget planning.
• Supervise, coach, and assess the property management team to ensure efficient operations and effective communication.
• Maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, residents, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and implement initiatives to improve property operations, streamline processes, and enhance service quality.
• Serve as Reliever for Account Lead – Metro Manila, ensuring continuity of operations, team supervision, stakeholder coordination, and escalation management.
• Participate in company meetings, training programs, and other organizational activities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
