Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Superintendent of DOT / Highway work.
• Strong knowledge of highway construction.
• Experience managing crews of various sizes.
• Ability to monitor schedules and budgets and coordinate with project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews effectively, delegating responsibilities, ensuring production of quality work that meets company policies and industry standards.
• Oversee scheduling and project budgets. Continued communication and documentation with project management.
• Assist project management in preparing and executing work, manpower needs, material quantities, schedules and equipment needs.
• Inform project management of potential problems, work interference, schedule difficulties budgetary concerns, safety concerns; report to management and help resolve problems.
• Always practice and monitor safety.
