Job Summary

Responsible for efficiently and effectively performing all phlebotomy functions while ensuring sample quality and integrity, including proper patient identification, test request verification, quality of sample collection, accurate documentation of clinical information, clear and legible labeling of samples, proper packing, handling, and transport of specimens, and appropriate waste disposal, while adhering to all relevant health and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Greets patients with a warm and caring smile ; addresses patient’s queries and concerns ; establishes rapport.

• Performs point of care testing , proper venipuncture and skin puncture techniques as well as bleeding time while following the standard phlebotomy operating procedures, work instructions, memos, and guidelines.

• 3. Practices proper patient identification (complete name, birthday, gender), assesses test requests, verifies/interviews and records patient’s clinical information prior to sample collection.

• Provides clear instruction to patients on how to properly collect samples

Job Qualification

• Graduate of B.S. Medical Technology

• With at least 6 months to 1 year experience is a plus

• With good blood extraction

• Patient oriented and punctual
