Job summary

HUA NAN COMMERCIAL BANK LTD, Manila Branch is seeking a risk-minded professional to support credit risk analysis and risk reporting across corporate borrowers and bank regulatory requirements.

You will update risk policies, prepare risk committee materials, conduct credit reviews, maintain risk databases, and contribute to credit committee discussions to strengthen operational resilience.

Qualifications

• College/Bachelor’s degree level in Accounting/Banking/Econometric Mathematics (or similar)/Finance.
• Computer literate with good oral and written English proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and interdisciplinary communication skills.
• Willing to work overtime if needed.
• Basic understanding of credit risk analysis for corporate borrowers and regulatory requirements.
• Experience using Bloomberg Terminal.

Responsibilities

• Keep Risk Management policies updated and assess branch exposure to risk categories.
• Prepare and follow up Monthly Risk Management Committee and ALCO.
• Conduct monthly Credit review on Loans.
• Update Internal Credit Risk Rating System database.
• Prepare and submit periodic risk and securities reports to Management/HO Risk/BSP.
• Prepare Securities related reports as required.
• Contribute to credit committee discussions.
• Monitor compliance with risk limits and procedures; suggest actions.
• Provide input on business continuity plans to enhance operational resilience.

Job description

• College/Bachelor’s degree level in Accounting/Banking/Econometric Mathematics (or similar)/Finance. Computer literate. Good oral and written English proficiency.
• Strong inter-personal and interdisciplinary communication skills, hardworking and versatile attitude to the job and tasks assigned.
• Willing to work overtime if needed.
• With a basic understanding of analyzing credit risk of corporate borrowers ranging from small to medium enterprise to large corporations as well as Banks institutions rules and regulations, know how to use Bloomberg Terminal.
• 1.Keeping the Risk Management related policies and procedures updated and help to regularly assess the Branch exposure to market risk, operational risk, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, compliance risk, strategic risk, concentration risk, reputational risk and ESG risk, and any emerging risks.
• 2.Prepare and follow up Monthly Risk Management Committee and ALCO.
• 3.Conduct monthly Credit review on Loans.
• 4.Update Database of Internal Credit Risk Rating System.
• 5.Prepare and submit Daily/Monthly/Quarterly/Semi-Annually/Annually (or as required) reports to Management/HO Risk/BSP.
• 6.Prepare Securities related reports as required.
• 7.Contribute to credit committee discussions.
• 8.Monitor compliance with risk limits and policies & procedures, and provide timely suggestion on actions taken.
• 9.Provide suggestion on business continuity plans to enhance operational resilience
