Job summary

Gigahertz Computer Systems is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to oversee daily store operations and lead the team in the absence of the Branch Manager. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to train and motivate staff on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include ensuring inventory accuracy, meeting sales targets, managing customer concerns, and coordinating with sales personnel to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Willingness to work at any time to open/close the store.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to train and develop staff.
• Ability to stand for long periods / move on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Aim to hit overall targets in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Help achieve personal targets as an assistant Branch Manager.
• Handle irate customers and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Maintain complete stocks and daily inventory updates for sales personnel.
• Conduct regular product training for new store products and staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
