Our Clients is seeking an experienced Technology Engineering Manager to lead software engineering initiatives for a growing Retail & E-Commerce business in Makati. This hands-on technology leadership role requires guiding architecture, system design, software quality, and digital transformation while staying closely involved with product goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience inEngineering Manager, Tech Lead, Technical Lead, Engineering Lead, or Software Development Manager.
• Strong experience leading and mentoring software engineering or development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor software engineering teams and provide technical direction.
• Drive the development and continuous improvement of e-commerce, retail, and digital platforms.
• Translate business and product requirements into technical priorities and solutions.
• Participate in system architecture, technical design, and complex solution development.
• Design and support scalable applications and service-oriented architectures.
• Work closely with Product, Technology, and Business stakeholders on product roadmaps.
• Conduct code reviews and establish engineering quality and development standards.
• Support Agile development, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and delivery.
• Identify opportunities for digital transformation, automation, and technology innovation.
• Coach and develop engineers while fostering a strong engineering culture.
• Ensure systems are scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with business requirements.
