Job summary
Our Clients seeks an experienced IT Director – Retail Applications to lead strategy, operations, and modernization of a large-scale retail application portfolio in the Philippines. This senior role drives delivery, service operations, financial management, and organizational change across a matrixed, distributed team of senior managers and professionals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- 15+ years of progressive enterprise IT experience with significant leadership for large-scale retail or consumer-facing apps.
- Experience leading senior managers and cross-functional teams in a distributed environment.
- Proven ability to develop multi-year technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts, capacity planning, and investments.
- Strong knowledge of architecture, cloud, APIs, data platforms, cybersecurity, resilience, observability, automation, and modern practices.
- Working knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, ITIL disciplines, and SDLC.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, delivery, and performance of the retail application portfolio.
- Develop multi-year strategies and roadmaps aligned to business priorities.
- Lead delivery, production support, modernization, debt reduction, and service improvement.
- Drive portfolio priorities and ensure investments deliver business value.
- Oversee operations, service levels, incident handling, and readiness for new/modernized apps.
- Lead modernization initiatives: cloud adoption, observability, automation.
- Manage budgets, vendors, and external partners; ensure accountability.
- Establish governance across delivery, risk, compliance, and performance.
- Lead and mentor senior technology leaders; foster collaboration across onshore/offshore teams.
