Songon Food Corporation is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager in Metro Manila to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, service quality, and compliance with food safety standards. You will supervise staff, coordinate FOH and BOH, manage inventory, and assist with administrative tasks.

The role requires leadership in training and scheduling, monitoring performance, and maintaining a clean, safe, and productive work environment that delivers excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in supervising the daily operations of the restaurant.
• Ensure all operating procedures, company policies, and quality standards are consistently followed.
• Monitor daily sales, labor, and operational performance to achieve business goals.
• Ensure smooth coordination between the Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) to maintain efficient service and product availability.
• Oversee opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures.
• Supervise, motivate, and support restaurant staff during daily operations.
• Conduct new hire orientation and assist with onboarding activities.
• Coach, mentor, and train employees on operational procedures, customer service standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Assign daily duties and monitor employee performance.
• Assist in preparing work schedules and managing shift coverage.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive working environment.
• Ensure guests receive prompt, friendly, and professional service.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Resolve customer issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor service quality and implement improvements when necessary.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and maintaining proper stock availability.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Monitor and understand inventory variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with proper receiving, storage, stock rotation (FIFO), and PAR levels.
• Coordinate with the Store Manager and Commissary regarding inventory replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, including dining, kitchen, storage, and restroom areas.
• Ensure employees follow proper hygiene, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Assist with daily administrative and clerical tasks.
• Prepare and submit operational reports as required.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Support payroll, attendance monitoring, and other administrative requirements as assigned.
