8+ years of hands‑on in writing UI & API automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java & RestAssured library Strong proficiency in Java , OOP principles and Design patterns Experience in AWS and setting up CI/CD pipelines Proficient in Git, BDD Cucumber, Postman , DB Exposure to AI tools in the industry Total Experience 8+ Relevant Experience 4+ Mandatory skills At least 4 years hands on REST API automation experience - A must have primary skill. Strong experience in Selenium Java and creating framework from scratch . Strong experience in API automation using Rest Assured and BDD frameworks with Cucumber . Implementation, execution of automation scenarios, creating test scripts. Proficient knowledge in at least one programming language, JAVA is preferred. Good experience in Postman /Insomnia tool. Good experience in AWS and setting up DevOps CICD Pipelines with Jenkins and configuration management tools. Experience with version control system such as GitHub. Strong experience in API testing, json, and XML, as well as exposure to databases. Strong experience in test management, defects tracking, and automation tools. Strong experience in preparing automated Test data, Test Suite, and Test bed. Strong experience in preparing Test plans, Test cases, and Test scripts. Strong experience in detecting Bugs, classifying them based on severity, priority and logging them in the defect tracking tool, and managing the defect through the Bug life cycle. Strong Knowledge of designing Test cases, verifying, and validating REST API. Participates in Scrum and agile estimation taking into consideration product and process requirements. Good to Have - Apache JMeter, Gatling and Load runner for performance testing.
