About the Job

This position is primarily responsible for understanding, analyzing, and implementing different testing methodologies using various testing tools. The ideal candidate should have strong Manual Testing expertise along with hands‑on experience in API Testing and AI-powered testing tools to improve test efficiency, coverage, and productivity.

Role: QA Manual Tester responsible for analyzing requirements, creating test cases, executing manual test scenarios, performing API testing, and leveraging AI-assisted testing tools to enhance software quality.

Mandatory Skills

Manual Testing

• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in Manual Testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Defect Life Cycle, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Review functional and design specifications to understand business requirements.
• Create test scenarios, test cases, test plans, and test data ensuring complete test coverage.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

API Testing (Mandatory)

• Hands‑on experience in REST API Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Postman for API validation and testing.
• Experience validating request/response payloads, headers, authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth), status codes, and API error handling.
• Understanding of JSON, XML, HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), and RESTful web services.
• Ability to create API test cases and perform end‑to‑end API validation.

AI Skills (Mandatory)

Hands‑on experience using AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Testim, LambdaTest KaneAI, TestRigor, ACCELQ, Functionize, Mabl, or similar AI‑enabled QA platforms.

Experience using AI for:

• Test case generation
• Test data creation
• Requirement analysis
• Defect analysis and root cause identification
• Test documentation
• Regression test optimization
• Ability to write effective prompts to improve testing productivity.

Understanding of AI‑assisted software testing concepts and Generative AI applications in Quality Engineering.

Familiarity with AI‑driven automation and intelligent defect prediction.

Good to Have Skills

• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Exposure to Automation Testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
• Exposure to AI‑assisted automation testing frameworks.
