Job summary

Brightstone is seeking a Fire Safety Engineer for an on-site role in New Delhi. You will follow command structures for fire suppression, prepare prevention plans and manage rescue, firefighting and salvage operations.

Regular training delivery and collaboration with the Fire, Health & Safety team are essential. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Fire Services Engineering and strong knowledge of suppression techniques, fire records systems, and emergency medical services.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Fire Services Engineering.
Good knowledge of current fire suppression and firefighting techniques, including all related equipment.
Good knowledge of fire records systems, communications equipment and use, fire computer applications and fire reporting procedures.
Good knowledge of the principles and practices involved in emergency medical services.

Responsibilities

Assists in fire suppression or related emergency services following command structure.
Performs equipment setup and dispatches emergency personnel.
Prepares Fire Prevention plans and conducts fire safety training for staff.
Carries out rescue, fire fighting and salvage operations at scenes.
Ensures documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Maintains fire system and equipment readiness and conducts regular inspections.
