Job summary

CDCC Builders Inc. seeks a Resident Engineer - Mechanical | Plumbing to lead MEP construction activities, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance on site. You will supervise contractors, monitor progress and contribute to project reports and documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Sanitary Engineering, a PRC Mechanical Engineer license, and at least 3 years in construction project management focusing on MEP systems.

Qualifications

Job Summary:

The Resident Engineer - Mechanical | Plumbing is an integral member of the Construction Management team, responsible for overseeing mechanical and plumbing aspects of construction projects. This role involves supervising contractors, monitoring project progress, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and contributing to project reports and documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Project Oversight, Safety, Quality, and Technical Compliance

• Ensure contractor compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards in mechanical and plumbing work.
• Oversee mechanical and plumbing construction activities, emphasizing safety, timeliness, and compliance.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance in mechanical and plumbing aspects.

2. Project Planning, Coordination, and Cost Control

• Collaborate with the Construction Manager to develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation for mechanical and plumbing work.
• Coordinate mechanical and plumbing project activities, ensuring alignment with project plans.
• Implement control measures to manage the scope, time, and costs of mechanical and plumbing work.

3. Reporting and Documentation

• Contribute to project progress reports, with a focus on mechanical and plumbing aspects.
• Maintain construction documentation related to mechanical and plumbing aspects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, or related field.
• Required possession of relevant professional certifications or licenses. (required)
• Must hold a valid PRC Mechanical Engineer license.
• Has a minimum of 3 years experience in construction project management with a focus on mechanical and plumbing work.
• Has an in-depth knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems, construction industry standards, regulations, codes, and best practices.
