Job summary

Recruitify_HR seeks a Resident Engineer – Project Control in the Cebu area to oversee cost and schedule monitoring for awarded construction packages. You will track progress, analyze deviations, ensure adherence to budgets and timelines, and support reporting and documentation.

The role requires a PRC Civil Engineering or Architect license, 3+ years in construction PM with a focus on cost control and scheduling, and proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (preferably), Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or any related field.
• Relevant professional certifications or licenses.
• Must hold a PRC Civil Engineering License or Architect License as required professional certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management with a focus on cost control, scheduling, and project monitoring.
• Strong understanding of project cost control, scheduling methodologies (Primavera P6, MS Project), and earned value management (EVM).
• Knowledge of construction contracts, progress measurement, and change management.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost control tools (Excel, Cost Management Software).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for cost and schedule variance analysis.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills for stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Cost and Schedule Baseline Preparation & Control; assist in establishing baselines and ensure alignment with contract requirements.
• Monitor expenditures and progress against baselines; identify deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Track and analyze project progress in terms of cost, schedule, and resource utilization.
• Review contractor schedules, billings, and change orders for accuracy and alignment with baselines.
• Identify risks affecting timelines and costs; propose mitigation and recovery plans.
• Prepare and maintain project control reports, cost and schedule performance updates.
• Document delays, cost variations, and corrective measures for claims and decision-making.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and the Construction Management team to enforce control measures.
