Job summary

SM Engineering Design and Development Corp. seeks a Licensed Electrical Engineer to oversee facilities management for mall utilities and MEPFS systems at MOA, Pasay, and other Metro Manila branches.

You will manage service requests, perform basic troubleshooting, coordinate with contractors, ensure environmental compliance, and support tenant relations while preparing permits and reports.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and a proven facilities management background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer.
• Experience in facilities management.
• Knowledge of MEPFS, BCMS, BMS and CMMS is a plus.
• Willing to be assigned in MOA, Pasay or other Metro Manila malls.

Responsibilities

• Manage service requests affecting mall utilities.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of major equipment and MEPFS utilities.
• Assign personnel to maintenance activities (replacement of busted lights, installation of spare parts, de clogging, water leaks and etc.).
• Prepare documentation for Government Permits.
• Submit reports for Government Permits validity.
• Evaluate tenant construction plans based on SMEDD standards through inspection.
• Prepare provisions on upgrading, conversion and relocation including coordination meeting with Tenant Relations Officer.
• Provide support to the incoming tenant on all MEPFS concerns and queries.
• Coordinate with third party contractors, mall operators for settlement of cases/issues, if any.
• Monitor environmental compliance (SMR, DENR, LLDA, CMR and CCG).
• Prepare and present the Mall's Energy Savings Data.
• Participates in Safety Audits, with coordination to mall/store operations (Tenant Safety Audit, BDOI, BCMS, Security Audits).

Job description
