Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a Research & Development Assistant Manager in Mandaluyong City to oversee planning, development, and commercialization of new food products for restaurant operations. The role collaborates with QA, Operations, Supply Chain, and Training teams to ensure feasibility and standardized rollout across commissary and stores.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least 5 years in Restaurant R&D or product development, and a minimum of 2 years

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Restaurant R&D or related.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience in recipe standardization and product commercialization.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing new product development and commercialization projects.
• Coordinate product trials, pilot runs, and operational validations.
• Develop standardized recipes, production procedures, and technical documentation.
• Prepare SOPs, BOMs, product specifications, and costing information.
• Coordinate with QA, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Training teams during commercialization.
• Conduct product evaluations and recommend process improvements.
• Support supplier evaluations and raw material testing.
• Monitor implementation performance and resolve operational issues during rollout.
• Supervise assigned R&D staff and project activities.

Job Summary

The Research & Development Assistant Manager supports the planning, development, and commercialization of new food products for restaurant operations.
