Job summary

TERI-Gram invites applications for a funded project on Green Aviation Fuel Production from Renewable Biomass (Agro-Residue) using catalytic pyrolysis, with LCA and TEA studies. The Research Associate will work in pilot pyrolysis reactors and high-pressure systems for a 3-year initial assignment.

Qualifications include PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Energy Science, or MSc/MTech/ME with up to 3 years of related experience in catalytic biofuel conversion.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc/MTech/ME with up to 3 years in catalytic biofuel conversion.
• Experience in SAF production via ATJ/HEFA or pyrolysis oil upgrading is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with appropriate instrumentation knowledge (GCMS, NMR, FTIR etc.).

Responsibilities

• Work in a pilot pyrolysis reactor and high-pressure reactors.
• Contribute to LCA and TEA studies for jet fuel range products.
• Design experiments, analyze results, and plan next steps in the process.
