The candidate will work on a Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India) funded Project on Green Aviation Fuel Production from Renewable Biomass (Agro-Residue) based Pyrolytic Bio Oil with LCA and TEA Studies which will involve catalytic pyrolysis, pyrolysis product fractionation and conversion to JET Fuel range products.
The JRF will be required to work in pilot pyrolysis reactor and other high-pressure reactors. Initial Position for 2 years. Depending on performance can be extended.
1 - 2 Years
Masters (MSc/MTech/ME) in Chemistry/ Chemical Engg/Energy Science and Technology with at least 1 year of experience in making and analyzing heterogenous catalyst- catalytic biofuel conversion (thermochemical route only).
Strong Analytical skills for Analysis of pyrolysis products using GCMS/Calorimeter/TGA/GC/NMR/FTIR are desirable. Fresh Masters with 1-2 years of experience in Chemistry/Chemical Engg. /Energy Engg preferred.
