Job summary

CLSA Global Markets Pte Ltd is seeking an associate with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Philippines listed market. The successful candidate will provide stock coverage, develop financial models, and maintain strong client relationships. A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline with a focus on finance or accounting is preferred, alongside strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients is essential. E-commerce experience is a plus.

**Position Description**We are looking for an associate with minimum 3 years’ experience to provide stock coverage within the Philippines listed market. The associate will provide stock recommendations based on thorough analysis, financial models and company/industry insights. The associate must be able to present & market effectively, externally to fund managers and clients and, internally to institutional sales and sales traders. Associates should view their role as an integral part of the team’s success. Effective teamwork; actively generate ideas for the teams development; communicate issues that require action; support each other, willingness to coach junior staff where appropriate and ask for help when needed.**Key Areas of Responsibilities*** Provide proactive and differentiated research on the sector* Produce short and full research reports* Develop financial models & valuation databases for all stocks under primary coverage* Respond to market news, earnings releases, corporate developments and other market-moving information when necessary and in a proactive manner* Develop and maintain key client relationships* Actively engage with clients and the relevant sales team members to communicate ideas to ensure maximum exposure/return from the time invested in producing the report* Maintain sound working relationships with corporates, clients and government/industry organisations* Assist Head of Research and other members of the team on specific research projects* Collect data and compile answers for clients requests**Requirements*** Bachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably with finance and/or accounting major – from reputable foreign or local universities. CPA, CFA, and MBA a plus.* 3+ years’ experience as a research analyst.
