International Care Ministries seeks a Research Lead to independently implement and manage research projects from data collection to dissemination. You will work with Senior and Principal Investigators to ensure rigorous execution and supervise Research Assistants, collaborating with internal and external researchers.

Responsible for independently implementing and managing ICM research projects, from data collection and management through to analysis and dissemination. Works under the guidance of the Senior Research Lead and alongside Principal Investigators to ensure rigorous and timely execution of research activities, and supervises Research Assistants in the process. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team of in-house and external researchers, and has the opportunity to play both leadership and supportive roles in strategic research projects. We seek individuals with strong technical and analytical skills who are passionate about generating evidence to address poverty.

Minimum: Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Science, or a related discipline with a research methods or statistics-based thesis
Particular interest or speciality in one or more of the following fields preferred: livelihoods, public health or medical technology, education, spiritual formation, economic development
At least 2-3 years of experience in a research role, preferably in a development or social science context
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills
Strong data management and analytical skills
Analytic mindset and logical approach to problems and questions
Proficient in working with quantitative and/or qualitative data
Proficient in SurveyCTO, ODK, or similar data collection platforms
Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis software such as R, Stata, SPSS, NVivo, etc.
Comfortable with data manipulation, spreadsheets, and basic statistics including MS Excel and/or Google Sheets
Comfortable delivering complex, multifaceted research projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience contributing to research reports or publications
