Job summary

New Food Coatings (Phils) Inc. in Laguna seeks an experienced R&D Manager to lead development and execution of special projects, improve manufacturing efficiency, and maintain QMS processes.

You will provide technical training, ensure equipment calibration, supervise staff, and collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or related; MS preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in a managerial role in food manufacturing.
• Strong background in Quality Management System.
• Ability to identify, introduce and follow best practices.
• Ethical, analytical, detail-oriented with strong self-initiative and people management.
• Strong problem solving, verbal and written communication, ability to manage multiple projects.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and execution of special projects as approved by Sales & Product Development Manager.
• Establish product design reviews with manufacturing to simplify and improve operational efficiencies, reducing manufacturing cost.
• Ensure that all the processes needed for R&D are established, implemented and maintained.
• Ensure that the department’s policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated in the Quality Systems Manual.
• Ensure that all laboratory and culinary equipment are maintained in good working order, regularly calibrated and serviced accordingly.
• Provide technical advice and training to customers, sales, manufacturing and laboratory personnel, as required.

Job Qualifications
